I have loved photography since I was a child. I
spent hours and hours perusing photo books of
many subjects, especially history and landscapes,
which fueled my desire to see and photograph as
much of the world as possible.
I have studied photography at the college level and
beyond, at Antioch College and Ohio University.
Later, I’ve studied with famous photographers such
as Joe McNally and David Hobby, who are masters
of lighting.
Photography seems almost magical to me. I am
still always amazed that we can point a contraption
of plastic, metal, and glass at something and
preserve that vision, that moment, practically
forever. Wow! I love that!
“Photography” literally means “Light Writing,” from
Greek.
I love working with people and light together to get
the best possible photos. I’m relaxed, calm,
respectful, fun and creative.
I am available for photo shoots of all types
anywhere in the Denver / Boulder metro area,
from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs, and all of
Colorado.
